last year i didn’t knit much for the kids other than lexie, they are ages nine and up, i didn’t think they would want hand knitted goods. i was wrong. two of my nephews noticed and i ended up knitting scarves for them for after christmas. this year i decided everyone was getting hats. before i started any other knitting, the hats would be done. i knitted four hats last weekend. i intended to wait until all the hats were done and do one photo and one post of them together. this completely slipped my mind. i wrapped them all up so that i could take them down to mom’s on thanksgiving, so they’d be there for christmas. i didn’t think about it until i got home that night.
my second oldest niece was out at the house in september and was leafing through my knitting books, she found a picture of a hat and asked me if i could knit it for her. i had already decided everyone was getting hats this year so that worked out well. i finished this tonight. it turned out rather cute. little kitties ears on top,
and earflaps and ties. it’s from the stitch and bitch book.
i have one more hat to knit for my bil. a sweater or two for lexie, depending on how much time i have left, and some baby mocs for noah. so much knitting, so little time.
