dad had his procedure this morning, every thing went well. he had a total of four blocked arteries. one had already developed a natural collateral so they are leaving it alone. they angioplastied one and the other two they were unable to angioplasty. as long as he’s o.k. we are done, should he start having problems again later on they will have to go back in and put stents in the other two arteries. given all of his other medical problems, they are taking the least aggressive approach as possible. we should know by tomorrow if his kidneys are going to be o.k. and hopefully he will be home by friday.
i am so wiped out! i will be working midnights thursday and friday so i have today and tomorrow morning to get caught up on things at home.my heart felt thanks to everyone who has called, text’d and left messages for me here, it means so much to me, you’ll never know.
positivity for today, dad’s procedure went well and he should be home soon.
