today was the stitch and pitch in pittsburgh. i haven’t been to see the pirates play in years! before dad’s health got as bad as it has been the past few years, he and i used to drive to pittsburgh once a month in june, july, and august to see the pirates play. we did that for several years and always had a good time. they lost 4-3 to the san francisco giants. we still had a good time.
the seats were out in the outfield,dad and i used to get the handicapped seats behind home plate. (better to see them lose!)
there was perfect weather, perfect company and ew were surrounded by knitters! here i am with my friend connie. (like my shirt?)
positivity for today, i spent the afternoon in the company of a good friend, and had fun chatting with all the knitters. knitting is the universal conversation starter, everyone asking each other, so, what are you knitting?
