woke up this morning with no voice. i scream at the top of my lungs and it barely comes out a whisper. i feel absolutely fine, it’s my annual bout with laryngitis. i used to get this once a year and for a long time i never got it, now it seems it’s back and making it’s annual appearance. i am sure it has nothing to do with the amount of stress i have been under lately, between work and dad, or the fact that i have been running on empty for over a week, or the fact that i have little to no down time anymore. for now the volume is turned way down, but luckily my neighbor’s three year old still has the ability to scream ear splitting, mind shearing screams at the top of her lungs and chooses to exercise this liberty often.
positivity for today. once of my patients asked me how often i get laryngitis and i replied once a year, dr white said, we look forward to it. they couldn’t hear me, but i was laughing really hard!
