i love summer rains. i love it when you can smell it in the air before the first rain drop falls. i love it when you can see it moving down the street in a wall of rain drops. i love sudden showers and all day soakers.

positivity for today. rain always makes me think of new beginnings, a chance to wipe the slate clean and start over again. this evening, sitting on the back porch with pepper, we sat and watched a summer shower and i couldn’t help but think about all the new beginnings going on in my life right now. all the chances we get every day to start over, you just have to reach for it.
